Severn Associates, LLC (Severn) was founded in 2000 to pursue general contracting, construction management, and tenant fit out opportunities in the commercial, state and federal markets. We have grown substantially over the last two decades. Severn is a firm with vast Design Build, renovation, and new construction capabilities. Our projects are Federal and Commercial new construction, interiors, exteriors, structural, Site and Civil, MEP and Energy Management improvements.

Founder and President, Morris Lewis has over 20 years of experience in construction, project management and land development. Morris Lewis is a graduate of the University of Maryland.

Chief Operating Officer and partner Todd Hirsch has 20 plus years experience in construction and telecommunications operations management. Mr. Hirsch holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Tulsa. Vice President of Operations, Bob Sudol has 30 years experience in construction management and has executed mixed-use commercial projects in excess of $250 million.

The Severn team has executed over 200 Federal Projects for clients such as, Naval Facilities and Engineering Command, The Army Corps of Engineers, the Smithsonian Institution, US General Services Administration, US Department of Homeland Security, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, the US Census Bureau, the US Department of Commerce, the Internal Revenue Service, Defense Logistics Agency, and the National Park Service. Severn has executed many, many, projects for commercial clients as well. A short list of a few of those would include: The Baltimore Orioles, The Baltimore Ravens, Maryland Stadium Authority, The Washington Redskins, Phoenix International, and Integral Systems. The office staff of Severn is fully versed in the management and administration of the Federal Acquisition Regulations.

All Severn project managers and field supervisors hold the Army Corps of Engineers Construction Quality Management for Contractors certification, OSHA 30 Hour certification, EM 385 certification, and American Red Cross CPR and First Aid Training.
