Severn Associates CFM Joint Venture
Severn Associates formed a joint venture with
CFM Engineering, Inc. (CFM) 
in 2012 to work together to enhance and expand their construction and government contracting experience.
Since that time, CFM Severn Associates JV LLC has executed dozens of Federal Construction Services Projects totaling more than $30,000,000. When the Joint venture was a Contractor in the NAVFAC Washington, DC 8(a) MACC from 2012-2015, it successfully performed fifteen projects under that award. Those projects were tenant fit out, remodel and complete renovation projects, as well as mechanical, electrical, fire suppression and civil and earthwork projects on Naval Installations in D.C., Maryland and Virginia. CFM Severn is currently a contractor in the USACE Southeast USA MATOC (Charleston District), and recently completed a set of task orders under this award in Georgia, where it provided HVAC Upgrades and Electrical System Upgrades to the National Guard 81st Reset Division Building in Macon. CFM and Severn (as a Team) also recently completed a $9M road project for The Smithsonian Institution.
CFM Engineering, Inc. is a Woman Owned Small Disadvantaged Business (WOSB), an Economically Disadvantaged Woman Owned Small Business (EDWOSB). CFM is a General Contracting/Construction Services firm with Design Build renovation and construction capabilities for interior and exterior, Site and Civil Projects. CFM offers Professional Engineering Services for MEP Systems, and Project Management Services for Interiors and fit Outs, Mechanical Systems, Facility Engineering Systems, Electrical Systems and for Site and Civil Construction and Roadwork Projects.
Severn Associates, LLC was formed in 2000. The Severn team has executed over 200 Federal Projects for clients such as, Naval Facilities and Engineering Command, the Smithsonian Institution, US General Services Administration, US Department of Homeland Security, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, the US Census Bureau, the US Department of Commerce, the Internal Revenue Service, Defense Logistics Agency, and the National Park Service.
CFM Severn JV has a robust infrastructure with over fifty Project Executives, PMs, Field Supervisors, QC, SSHO, Tradesmen and Administrative personnel. The Joint Venture has a $35 Million Aggregate and $12 Million Individual Bonding capacity.
